The wins for the Battlefords North Stars just keep piling up.

After three more wins this past week, the North Stars are once again in the top-10 in the weekly Canadian Junior Hockey League top-20 rankings, coming in at number six for the second straight week.

The club has won six straight games, currently the longest winning streak in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) .

Battlefords (18-3-1) and the Melfort Mustangs (14th, 18-5-3-1) are once again the only SJHL teams in the rankings, although the Nipawin Hawks (16-5-1-2) did get an honourable mention.

The Carleton Place Canadians (29-2-0-2) of the Central Canadian Hockey League hold the top spot for the second straight week.

The Thief River Falls Huskies remain in second at 21-1-0, and the 23-2-1 Okotoks Oilers are still in third.

The North Stars host the La Ronge Ice Wolves Tuesday, before heading south for two games this weekend, first in Estevan on Friday and then in Wilcox on Saturday.
