Few details are being released but Battlefords RCMP have confirmed that they are currently investigating reports of multiple shots being fired at a residence in the north end of North Battleford.

The incident happened at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Const. Jane Keddy told battlefordsNOW that because the incident is under investigation she could not give specific details on injuries, how many shots were fired or what calibre weapon was used.

There have also been unsubstantiated reports that more than one house was targeted, however this has not been confirmed by RCMP.

Keddy added that police are requesting the public’s help and if anyone has details on the incident contact the Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
