Nov 21, 2017 | 9:00 AM

Following a road trip where the club took six of a possible eight points, the Battlefords North Stars hopped from eighth to sixth in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League top-20 rankings.

The North Stars (15-3-1) are now joined by the Melfort Mustangs (16-4-3-1, 17th) as the only Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League representatives.

Last week, Battlefords fell from third to eighth after they were shut out in their lone game of the week, 1-0 to Weyburn.

This week, the North Stars lost to Notre Dame on Wednesday but rebounded with three wins in three nights against Estevan, Weyburn, and Yorkton, all on the road.
