No injuries after school bus collision near Turtleford

Police are investigating after a semi-truck collided with a school bus after classes in Turtleford today, Oct. 19.

The incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Highway 26, near Mervin.

Nine students and the driver were on the bus at the time of the crash. There were no injuries to members of either vehicle and parents picked up their children from the scene.

The collision happened after the driver of the bus attempted to cross the highway. The semi-truck clipped the rear bumper of the bus.

Turtleford RCMP remain investigating along with an RCMP traffic reconstructionist.
