On each and every Battlefords North Stars broadcast this season on CJNB/CJNS, Nathan Kanter will be speaking with either a current North Star player or a North Star alumnus to dig a little deeper into their off-ice interests and, in the case of alumni, see what they’ve been up to since their playing days.
In the first installment, we learn a little more about new captain Layne Young, who shares his go-to pre-game meal, his musical interests (or lack thereof), and what rating he would give himself in NHL the video game.
