Two female youth threatened with knife

A young male was arrested by Battlefords RCMP after he approached two female youth and threatened them with a knife.

According to RCMP, the altercation happened at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8. All three youth were known to each other and no one was injured during this altercation.

Police attended, located the male and arrested him. The male youth is facing charges including assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, failure to comply with an undertaking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
