Orcas swimmer Pruden wins 6 medals at NAIG

Fourteen-year-old Slade Pruden will be coming back from Ontario with some serious hardware.

The Battlefords Kinsmen Orcas member won six medals at the North American Indigenous Games in the 14U male category on Thursday and Friday in Toronto.

Thursday, he won two bronze medals and one silver. 

His time of 36.69 seconds in the 50-metre butterfly was good enough to claim second place, while his bronze medals came via the 50-metre freestyle and 200-metre individual medley. In the medley, his time of 2:55.92 was also just .17 seconds behind second place.
