National Film Board shows coming to N.B. Library

Jul 11, 2017 | 5:00 PM

North Battleford Library will be hosting National Film Board (NFB) short pieces in July and August with a focus on celebrating Canada and sharing Indigenous stories.

The free family friendly event is fitting for activities to celebrate Canada’s 150th and will take place at the library’s lecture theatre.

Head librarian Amanda Foster said young children will require adult supervision to attend the film sessions, so it’s a good opportunity for an afternoon out for parents and their children.

“They are usually very good quality,” head librarian Amanda Foster said of the NFB shorts.
