Two ferrets reported stolen in robbery

Battleford RCMP is investigating a pair of thefts that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

Constable Tara Anderson reported the first break and enter happened at noon at a residence on the 1700 block of 93 St. The thieves made off with two laptops and some jewellery. Then at 5 p.m., RCMP were called to a residence on the 1300 block of 104 streel where someone stole a TV, Xbox and two ferrets.

In both cases no one was home at the time of the robbery.

Anderson also reported a single vehicle roll over on Highway 4 south. The lone occupant, who was driving a 2008 Pontiac G5, was not hurt in the incident.
