Mar 29, 2017 | 10:29 AM

The man accused of killing a long-time Sask. Party staffer made a brief appearance at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Regina Wednesday morning.

John Strang appeared as lawyers discussed whether he should be held not criminally responsible for the death of Lisa Strang.

A publication ban prevents the media from reporting the details of the hearing.

Lisa was found dead in her McLean home the two shared in August 2015. John has been charged with first-degree murder. Police have never confirmed what the pair’s relationship was.
