Stolen vehicles keep Battlefords RCMP busy

Two vehicles were stolen from North Battleford in recent days. 

Around noon on Wednesday, a 2006 Pontiac G6 was reported stolen from the 900 block of 103 St. in North Battleford. The vehicle was recovered a short distance away later in the afternoon. Meanwhile, police are searching for a suspect in connection with a stolen 2003 red Pontiac Sunfire with license plate 372 KLC. The vehicle was stolen from a residence on the 900 block of 101 St.

An 18-year-old male is facing a charge of failing to comply with an undertaking after a report of numerous intoxicated persons causing a loud disturbance on the 1600 block of 102 St. in North Battleford. A 25-year-old male and 32-year-old female were also arrested for causing a disturbance. 

Police responded to more than 50 calls during the past 24 hours.
