Twin Rivers team to compete for curling championship

The Drew Heidt rink representing the Twin Rivers Curling Club of North Battleford is competing in the SCT-Goldline Saskatchewan Championships being played at the Caille Curling Club in Regina this weekend.

The foursome consisting of Heidt as skip, mate Jesse St. John, second Cole Tenetuik and lead stone Chadd McKenzie will be among the 16 teams vying for this year’s crown.

Team Heidt plays Team Gedak of Estevan in the opening draw Thursday night at 6 p.m.

The championship game is slated for January 8 at 4 p.m.
