Brody Siebert’s debut seven-song country EP Lonely Town was voted the 10th best Saskatchewan album of 2016 by SaskMusic.

It was tied for the final spot in the top-10 with Untimely Demises’ death metal album Black Widow.

Siebert, born and raised in Spiritwood, picked up a guitar at age 15 and shortly after began singing. In 2013, he was a finalist at the CKRM big country talent show and in 2014 he was the winner of the CKRM Proudly Saskatchewan Showcase put on at Casino Regina.

In November 2014, Siebert went down to Nashville to record three songs, including the first single of his EP, Lay it on Me Tonight. That first single reached number 67 on the Mediabase charts, while his second single Back in Mine reached number 63. The EP wasn’t released until July 2016.
