Patients in the Battlefords now have more access to medical care with the recruitment of two new physicians and expanded operation hours at the Twin City Medical Walk-In Clinic.

Dr. Ijeoma Ozoh and Dr. Negin Asefi are joining the Prairie North Health Region clinic with Dr. Ozoh already seeing patients at the clinic and Dr. Asefi expected to begin by the end of October.

The two new physicians joining the two current doctors, Dr. Phillips Eraga and Dr. Afolabi Olayinka, allow Prairie North to expand services to Sundays.

Starting Nov. 6, walk-in hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday.

All four doctors are accepting new patients on a regular caseload basis. Scheduled appointments can be made on weekdays by calling the clinic.
