Ahmad Khan Rahami, the man suspected in bombings in New York and New Jersey, is now in custody after a shootout with police, according to CNN.

The shootout happened Monday in Linden, New Jersey.

Saturday night’s blast in the bustling Chelsea neighbourhood injured 29 people, and another unexploded device made out of pressure cooker was found several blocks away.

In addition to the blast in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood on Saturday, a pipe bomb exploded in a New Jersey shore town before a charity 5K race.
