A Wilkie RCMP traffic stop led to a man facing drug related charges.

On July 24 at approximately 2:30 a.m., RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 14 east of Unity.

The lone occupant of the vehicle breached the conditions of release on a conditional sentence order and had drugs in his vehicle. A search resulted in the seizure of several individual baggies of powdered cocaine, Canadian currency and a cell phone.

Victor Mosquera, 19, from Hepburn, Sask. is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
