There is one permit available for each of 20 towns on the list including:

  • Bienfait

  • Davidson
  • Emerald Park/White City
  • Foam Lake
  •  Gravelbourg
  • Gull Lake
  • Indian Head
  • Kamsack
  • Kipling
  • Lanigan

These are the latest in a total of 50 requests for proposals (RFPs) released this summer as the Saskatchewan Government moves towards an expanded private retail system for booze.  The transition will see 40 government liquor stores switched to the private sector plus 11 new stores. The conversion of the SLGA store in Melfort will be delayed until 2019 when the current lease expires.
