Five-year-old ATV driver injured in collision

A five-year-old boy riding an ATV Tuesday night, was struck by a truck.

Leader RCMP reporter the incident happened in southwest Saskatchewan, on a grid road in the R.M. of Miry Creek.

The young boy sustained what were described as serious injuries and was airlifted to a Saskatoon Hospital by STARS. 

He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. 

The driver of the truck was not injured. RCMP said alcohol was not a factor, and have no further update on the boy's condition.
