Organizers of the Battlefords Business Excellence (BBEX) Awards say their 2015 revamp of the award process was so successful, they’ll stick with it in 2016.
Instead of a separate nomination for Business of the Year, the award will be presented to a finalist from the other six categories.
Battlefords Chamber of Commerce co-chair Betty Speed explained they saw anticipation build through the evening in 2015 thanks to the introduction of the separate Business of the Year award, and they feel it recognized the number of worthy businesses in the Battlefords.
Businesses can apply for nominations in up to two of the six categories: New Business Venture, Customer Service, Marketing, Micro Business, Community Contribution, and Battlefords’ Best Employer.
