The RCMP is releasing more information about an incident in Prince Albert last week that ended with a bang.

According to RCMP, the stolen truck that crashed into a house on Sherman Drive last Thursday, May 26 had been taken from a home that morning in the Victoire area, west of Debden.

Police said two men entered a home, threatened the 79-year-old home owner with weapons and then took the man's truck and cellphone.

The suspects drove to Prince Albert where they were eventually captured by police.

Zachary Daniels and Preston Chamakese, both 19, are scheduled to appear today, May 30 at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
