Body found near Arelee identified as missing Saskatoon man

Human remains found near the town of Arelee have been identified.
 
RCMP said the victim is 37-year-old Shane Perret of Saskatoon.
 
It was last Friday when his body was found in the RM of Eagle Creek, near Arelee just north of Perdue.

Perret had been reported missing on Decemeber 11, 2015. 

Police aren’t releasing the cause of death, but are treating it as a homicide.
 
Residents in the town of Arelee and surrounding area are encouraged to report any suspicious activity they may have observed in the area since December 2015.
