Radiothon for new hospital CT scanner goes all day Wednesday

Raising $600,000 for a new CT scanner in the Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) is the goal of the radiothon being held at CJNB, Q98 and 93.3 The Rock on Wednesday, May 18.
The Bigger Picture radiothon begins tomorrow at 6 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m. across all three stations with live broadcasts and on-location reports all throughout the day.
The new CT scanner will improve patient care and increase the ability to diagnose cancer, cardio vascular disease and internal injuries. It also allows the technician to be with the patient right up until the scan happens.
