Apr 20, 2016 | 6:46 AM

A business owner in Landis was robbed and restrained during an early morning robbery.

Unity RCMP said the robbery happened at roughly 6 a.m. on April 19. Three masked people – one man and two women – armed with a piece of metal demanded money from the cash registers.

The robbers restrained the business owner and proceeded to take a large quantity of liquor from the store. The three also forced their way into an adjacent house where they stole a hunting rifle. They then left in the owner’s truck. The victim was able to get free and call 911. She was unhurt.

Police are asking members of the public to be on the lookout for the stolen vehicle, described as a grey 2007 GMC Sierra 1500, with Saskatchewan licence plate 717 IUI. RCMP ask residents not approach the vehicle, but call them instead.
