RCMP amazed truck rollover injuries weren’t worse

Battlefords RCMP said they’re amazed injuries weren’t more severe in a rollover on Hwy 4.
Emergency crews were called to the crash 10km north of the Battlefords at approximately 8 a.m. According to RCMP a southbound pickup truck lost traction and went into the ditch. Two passengers were ejected as the truck rolled.
One passenger walked away with minor injuries. However, the other passenger was trapped under the truck.
STARS air ambulance was initially deployed, but were called off once EMS extracted the trapped passenger and determined the victim could be taken to hospital.
