A premiere transit system for North Battleford: transit manager

North Battleford will operate a “premiere transit system,” according to Al Love, the city’s transit manager.

The city plans to add a second bus and expanded routes beginning April 1, 2016. The city is including an information package on the new transit system with residents’ utility bills.

“It’s just to remind everybody that there are some changes and we don’t want them to miss their bus if they depend on the system right now,” Love said.

Eighty per cent of the stops will remain the same, with service extended to include the northern subdivisions of Killdeer Park and Fairview Heights. 

Fares will remain the same, with the exception of a $10 increase in the cost of the adult monthly pass.
