North Battleford hosts Midweek Seniors Curling Tournament

North Battleford hosts Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association (SSFA) 55+ Provincial curling tournament this week at the Northland Power Curling Centre.
Eleven teams from across the province will be competing to advance to the national competition in Brampton, Ontario this summer.
The bulk of the teams in the competition are in the 65+ mixed, or 65+ men’s categories.
According to SSFA president Margaret Gailing, the number of 55+ teams is down from previous tournaments. She attributed this to the “economic situation.”
