Police are looking for suspects after a crime spree in the Paynton area.

According to Maidstone RCMP, on Friday between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., unknown suspects broke into a RM of Paynton shop where a 2016 Dodge Ram truck was stolen along with a laptop computer.

The suspects then went to another shop down the road where they stole a flat-deck trailer and attempted to flee. However, the suspects didn't crank the trailer jack fully and created large gouges in the road.

RCMP believed the suspects lost control of the vehicle, abandoning the trailer dangerously in the middle of the road and the stolen truck in a ditch.

Anyone with information about this incident can contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
