UPDATE: Snowy conditions causing slippery highways

Feb 27, 2016 | 9:54 AM

While Environment Canada hasn’t issued weather warnings during this most recent snow fall, the province’s Highway Hotline described some challenging driving.

The hotline explained conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly and drivers should be alert.

In Meadow Lake and Prince Albert conditions are defined as wet and subject to freezing causing icy or slippery sections. There is loose and swirling snow along with slush added to driving challenges.

In North Battleford highways are described similarly with wet conditions subject to freezing.
