RCMP seek burglary suspects in Battleford

Feb 17, 2016 | 7:48 AM

RCMP were on the hunt Wednesday morning, Feb. 17, for two suspects, who were interrupted while breaking into a Battleford business.

Around 4:30 a.m. police say they received an alarm at the 29th Street Market. They arrived to find a break-in in progress. Two people got away, and drove off in a truck, RCMP say was stolen from a Battleford home earlier in the morning.

The driver of the truck lost control, and police say the two suspects then ran away. At one point officers were stopping traffic as they attempted to establish a perimeter. It was lifted by 6:30 a.m., but the search for the two continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP.
