A Goodsoil father and son are taking home the big bucks after winning a Lotto Max Maxmillion draw on Dec. 4.

Curtis and James Hofer are $1,000,000 richer after their Loto Max ticket came up a winner last month. Curtis says he stopped to check the tickets on his way to work and the fourth one he scanned came up showing "a bunch of zeros".

Curtis says it's nice that he will be able to work on their farm more and not for anybody else while James says they're not going to live like they're broke, but they aren't going to blow their money either.

The winning ticket was bought at Larry's Place in Goodsoil.
